If I get over this promise me I'll go forever. And you might as well exist Cause you're gonna live forever. One way ticket to the glorious days ever been excited for the coming of age always kept awake on the flight to the States Now that you're around me I'm always gonna stay here. You were psychedelic I was nomadic We were nothing like our parents Old habits die with medicine I've got oxygen, you've got everything. Would you stay with me if I stay here Would you care to tell me everything you love here Would you share with me a six-er in the summer Would you say that I am yours and no other's

T-E double N E S-S E-E O-H-I-O No one will remember this / the time I was a motorist. After all the Brooklyn buses / taking me to other places. Showing off with my friends / down in Texas. Brilliantly delivering / the testament of everything. Tennessee Ohio T-E double N E S-S E-E O-H-I-O And I wanted you And I want you Affording all the general / affording all the comfortable. And you will never know me / You will never know me. Make a promise like a bandaid / place it over my mouth babe. Tear it off with one pull. I'm an old growth forest / full of ancient explorers. There's a road through a big tree / take a picture remember me. I'm a climber's mountain / and a tied up rope water fountain. And the lives like a nautilus cloud / and all the love I've found. T-E double N E S-S E-E O-H-I-O

Algonquin 04:20
Headlamps dot the descent, Algonquin rock face climbing to the top and down again. Food stuff swinging from the trees, believing that the only friend in a bear-suit reaching for handoff carry me to the avalanche down the ladder, to the mud flat. Basin filled, water filled, I am eager to get back to you. Single track doubling back, I've got a hold of it. Never letting go of the rope-tied picture show. Making me believe that all the rolled cigarettes are taking over airspace, and I'm drafting it. Marcy you are under cloud cover with your skirt dress. Slide your hands down and help me undress. Altitude and attitude, you've got so much. You love me and I love you. Algonquin baby you're the love of my life. I've never seen another woman like you, and I might never get another chance to tell you you're right to leave me even though I'll always love you.

On the shorelines are ocean waves and paper-made sailboats / and letters that float away / get lost in the undertow. If you wait for everything / I'll promise you the holy ghost. It's hard to say goodbye to the world as we know it. We all have our enemies / hating almost everything. Well listen to John Muir / the mountaintops are all we need. And we'll stay here forever / and spend our time accordingly. It's hard to say goodbye to the world as we know it. Beautiful sunrise rest on my shoulders / to meet me in the morning / we're both a day older. If I could just keep you and never be cold. It's hard to say goodbye to the world as we know it. I can see you all, everyone You've got years before you're not young I can save you all, everyone You've got years before you're not young I can tell you've been waiting for me now that you're gone I was wrong before but now you're wrong I will try try baby to get you out of my mind You're the one thing I lost I can't find

The backwoods and an old commitment I had nothing to do with And now it seems like there's nothing new here For me to contend with I made the mistake of loving you too soon And now there's not much here but an empty room Now the sky is bright But the sun's screaming down And what a terrible way to go out There was nothing I could say to change this And only one way to fake it You were so admired for your love and staying power Through hard times If only I could see right to the heart of the issue If only I could see right through you

Wind Wind (free) 02:24
I am a windswept road Not knowing where I'm going Over prairies and orchards That have stopped growing So when you travel westward I'll give you my word I'll do my best to protect The land where you're going In a makeshift cabin You settle down relaxing Away from city landscapes And a sky that is frozen So as the wind picks up You've always been enough Of a dream to keep me sleeping (Wind is blowing me down down down)

Sun Raven 04:44
At the end everyone waits for the beginning We started over The Northern Lights chilled us And bear paw fireworks Now sleeping over And under Orion hunter Cradle my face with yours We became lovers I'll carry you under my arm to show my family Now it's all over And we were just waiting for another beginning I'll save a place for you Ice melting mossy oak and thundercloud caribou I'll wait all night for you And understand baby I will tell you I love you And you wait all night for me Well I am out hunting I'll be back in the morning Now you wait for me And all you wanted was another beginning (You were the sun raven) You were a lonely example to us all Your beautiful neighbors

You were all mine I was all yours And the fine line I walked to you Here I'll stay while fingers land on Spinning globes that turn til I'm long gone Going out of the country You're head is feeling funny And you never will remember me When you're going out of the country I'll meet you there London Bridge is falling Save yourself and all your darlings Here I'll stay while footprints find me Stand there while I lose all my air Am I in your world? Am I in your world, anymore? Going out of the country You're head is feeling funny And you never will remember me When you're going out of the country
